PR:PROJECT_SUMMARY               	that cold increases the serum metabolites of the NAD+ salvage pathway
PR:PROJECT_SUMMARY               	(nicotinamide and 1-methylnicotinamide) in humans. Additionally, individuals
PR:PROJECT_SUMMARY               	with coldstimulated BAT activation have decreased levels of metabolites from the
PR:PROJECT_SUMMARY               	de novo NAD+ biosynthesis pathway (tryptophan, kynurenine). Serum nicotinamide
PR:PROJECT_SUMMARY               	correlates positively with cold-stimulated BAT activation, whereas tryptophan
PR:PROJECT_SUMMARY               	and kynurenine correlates negatively. Furthermore, the expression of genes
